Superintendent – Commercial Construction (Ground-Up Focus)Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Location: Sarasota, FLExperience Required: 5+ yearsAbout the Role:We’re seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead and manage commercial ground-up construction projects across Florida. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values quality craftsmanship, and enjoys building strong teams and relationships on-site.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure timely and quality execution.Maintain project schedules, budgets, and safety standards.Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to resolve issues and drive results.Travel to project sites across Florida as needed (typically within a few hours of Sarasota).Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in general commercial construction.Proven success managing ground-up projects (retail, office, healthcare, hospitality, etc.).Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel within Florida for project assignments.Statewide (Florida) – Project-Based (as needed with per diems and housing fully paid)OSHA certification and familiarity with Procore or similar project management tools preferred.Why Join Us?Competitive compensation and benefits package.Supportive team culture with opportunities for growth.Projects that make a lasting impact in communities across Florida. xhmxlyz Company vehicle or travel stipend provided for project-based travel.
