Diesel Technician

Average Pay Range: $28 - $32 / hr - pay will be determined by experience and certifications

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday: First Shift 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

To become part of the NFI team you:

* Must have a valid driver's license
* Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
* Technical or advanced degree or 2 years or more of equivalent maintenance experience
* Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
* Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
* Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
* On-site evaluation with recommended training

Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to:

* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
* Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
* Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
* Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
