Unlock your potential Job Summary and Qualifications What You Will Do in This Role: * The unit secretary is responsible and accountable for the daily clerical operations of the nursing unit, performs receptionist duties andmaintainssupplies/equipment for the unit. * The unit secretaryparticipatesin a positive patient experience including supporting RNs in the delivery of patient care items and providing meal companionship to patients. What Qualifications You Will Need: * High School Diplomaor GED equivalent isrequired. * American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Saving (BLS) certificationrequiredupon hire. * Excellent interpersonal skills and computer skills arerequired. * Public contact and clerical experience preferred. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple functions preferred. * Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. * Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and multi-line phone preferred. We offer a Stroke Center, a walk-in clinic, and orthopedics across three Kansas City locations.
