D365 Applications Manager

OverviewThe D365 Applications Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform across POS, Warehousing, Finance, and CRM modules. This role is dedicated to all aspects of system architecture - ensuring seamless integrations, system customizations, and performance enhancements to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role will oversee and guide both internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with Cavender's goals and objectives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the "Cavender's Culture" and drive our Mission, Vision, and ValuesLead the design, architecture, and implementation of D365 F&O solutions across POS, Warehousing, Finance, and CRM modulesTake full ownership of all technical and functional specifications, including system design, customization, and documentationAct as the solution architect for D365 F&O, designing scalable, effective solutions that improve operational efficiency and meet business requirementsArchitect and implement integrations between D365 F&O and other enterprise systemsOversee the customization and optimization of D365 F&O to improve performance and streamline business processesTranslate business requirements into actionable and technical specifications and ensure the successful delivery of these solutionsProvide guidance and expertise to business leaders, helping them understand system capabilities and potential enhancementsManage and coordinate work with third-party vendors ensuring that external teams adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standardsLead full lifecycle implementations, including configuration, testing, migration, and go-live support for POS, Warehousing, Finance, and CRM modulesContinuously monitor system performance and initiate improvement initiatives to optimize the system, adapt to new business needs, and ensure smooth functionalityTroubleshoot and resolve critical issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsLead, mentor, and support a team of internal resources while also managing external third-party contractors or consultants Qualifications and Requirements5+ years of experience in Microsoft D365 F&O, with a deep focus on POS, Warehousing, Finance, and CRM modulesPrevious experience supporting D365 F&O within a retail organization is strongly preferredMicrosoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant AssociateProven track record as a Solution Architect, including experience leading complex implementations and system customizationsExtensive experience managing third-party vendors (onshore and offshore) and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budgetAbility to interpret documentsAbility to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasksAbility to understand the meanings of words and effectively respondAbility to comprehend complex issues and communicateAssociate must be able to read English.Associate must be able to understand EnglishAssociate must be able to stay alert during work hours assignedBased in Tyler, TX at our home office; Tyler area residence.Ability to travel up to 10% of the timePreferred Skills Strong technical and functional expertise in D365 F&O, with a focus on architecture, customization, integration, and troubleshootingExperience leading large-scale ERP implementations, from system design through to go-live and post go-live supportStrong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with business leaders and technical teams alikeProven ability to tactically support requests, ensuring that business needs are met while managing both long-term and immediate prioritiesCavender's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
