Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Spring, Texas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth financial operations by handling key accounting tasks such as invoice processing, account reconciliation, and vendor payments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment and support the company's continued growth. Responsibilities: - Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation. - Manage vendor payments, including verifying and reconciling payment records. - Post customer payments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. - Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. - Maintain and organize financial documentation for auditing and reporting purposes. - Utilize Excel tools such as pivot tables and V-lookup to analyze and manage financial data. - Support accounting functions related to the construction industry. - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. - Perform data entry tasks to ensure the accuracy of accounting records. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Proficiency in accounting software. - Strong skills in Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables and V-lookup. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to process invoices and reconcile accounts effectively. - Experience in financial data entry and documentation. - Bilingual skills are preferred but not required. - Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction industry is a plus.
