Unlock your potential Job Summary and Qualifications MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Will PM, inspect, repair, assemble and install various types of equipment * Repair electrical beds * Inspect/repair vertical/horizontal transportation * Repair pneumatic tube system * Must be able to recognize and correct conditions which require maintenance work such as conveyors, laundry, and dietary equipment * PM various types of equipment (exhaust fans, laundry equipment, dietary equipment, battery emergency lights, etc.) * Diagnose problems and order materials/parts for repairs to equipment * Willing to help and assist other mechanics/trades as necessary * Move materials upon request from all departments * Must be accessible for emergency maintenance calls. * Shall observe safety rules and regulations at all times. * Other duties as assigned. What qualifications you will need: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: * High School diploma/GED or work experience equivalent * Hospital/Commercial experience preferred * Skill in the use of hand and power tools used in installations, repair and maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds * Five or more years of experience preferred Chippenham Hospital has provided quality healthcare services since 1972, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
