Job Summary:
Chippenham Hospital, a Level l Trauma Center is recruiting a fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon to support our growing program in Richmond, Virginia.
Qualified Candidates:
* Board certified/Board eligible orthopedic surgeon from an accredited training program
* Virginia licensure or ability to obtain.
* Must be energetic, motivated and a team player.
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients, nursing, physicians and administration.
* Excellent competencies in both acetabulum and heavy pelvic fracture procedures

* 466-bed Level l Trauma Center and Level l Burn Center
* 65-bed Emergency Department
* 12-bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
* 15 operating rooms
* Tucker Pavilion - 137 beds dedicated to inpatient acute behavioral health care
* Levinson Heart Institute
* 32-bed Medical Surgical ICU, 12-bed Coronary ICU, and 12-bed dedicated CV ICU
