SAP Material Master Consultant w/MDG

Job Description: The client is seeking an experienced SAP Material Master Consultant to support Material Master Management processes using SAP Best Practices. The consultant will collaborate with business process owners to gather requirements, configure solutions, manage data governance, and support integration and conversion activities under the Production Planning (MFG) module. Skills: Material Master Management. Material Master Management s SAP Best Practice. Work Stream requirement gathering with business process owners to complete the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire. Plan and build Workshop A (System Demo and Presentation Deck) based on assessment results. Requirements Management. Configuration and Documentation. Key Decision Documentation. Process Flows. Authorization and Security. Test Planning (Standard and Custom objects). Change Management. Reporting. S/4HANA Experience. Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Experience (nice to have for offshore roles). Material Data Governance (MDG functional) nice to have. Experience with Material Master under the Production Planning (MFG) Module. Understanding of Material Master structure and key fields, with experience setting up master data to support various business scenarios. Classification and Characteristics Management. Interchangeability (FFFC). Mapping of Material Masters from legacy systems to SAP. Conversion of Material Masters from legacy systems to SAP, with troubleshooting. Experience working with Document Info Records and document management systems. Conceptual understanding of product interchangeability and supersession. Functional Specification Authoring.
