As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a dynamic retail location. This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas by vehicle and/or on foot. You will engage with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:
* Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
* Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
* Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
* Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
* Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
* Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist customers and employees as needed.
* Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management or local authorities as required.
* Follow all protocols regarding the carrying and use of authorized firearms while on duty.
* Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
* Collaborate with retail staff and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and support a positive environment for customers and employees.
What We're Looking For:
* Availability across various days and shifts
* Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
* A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
* Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
* An active armed guard card or license is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
