Description Our fantastic client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team on a contract basis at their Franklin, Tennessee location. This role involves overseeing payroll operations for a large, multi-state employee population, requiring precision and adherence to compliance standards. The ideal candidate will excel in manual payroll processing and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. Responsibilities: - Manage the full cycle of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Handle payroll for a multi-state workforce, adhering to varying regulations and requirements. - Oversee manual payroll operations for a large employee population. - Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to ensure seamless payroll operations. - Utilize Paycom software to execute payroll tasks efficiently. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. - Address and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. - Provide leadership and guidance to support the payroll team. - Prepare payroll reports and documentation as required. - Maintain confidentiality and safeguard payroll data. Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management. - Expertise in handling payroll for multi-state employee populations. - Proficiency in manual payroll processing for over 500 employees. - Strong knowledge of Paycom software. - Familiarity with payroll compliance regulations at all levels. - Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work onsite in Franklin, Tennessee. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
