Reporting to the Sr. Director, Creative Strategy, the Director, Video Production will be an integral part of the Creative Services team providing expertise in all phases of production, asset management and data analytics related to video/photo. He/she will lead a team of talented, in-house production specialists responsible for all aspects of video/photo production projects supporting communications, marketing, brand, social, executive projects and other priority initiatives. Additionally, they will analyze, develop and implement strategies related to video/photo production, including pre- and post- production, video/photo shoots, asset management and archiving, project management, studio production and similar efforts, ensuring efficient processes, developing and sharing best practices and establishing tangible measures of success. This role will also be responsible for analyzing internal and external data and metrics related to video/photo production to identify ROI, trends and best practices, anticipate future resourcing needs, propose and implement improvements related to production efficiencies and quality. They will be able to translate and represent the data and present findings to leadership. Additionally, the Director, Video Production will be responsible for establishing and implementing in-house operating models to insource and execute certain video/photo production currently being outsourced to advertising and creative agencies. This will include production for "net-new" service line and brand campaigns, as well as revising existing agency campaign assets. Creative Services Portfolio: https://hcacreativeservices.com/ What qualifications you will need: * Bachelor's degree in video production, film, marketing or similar, or work equivalency. * Ten years of experience in a similar role within an advertising agency, creative studio, production company, in-house marketing team or similar entities. * Knowledge of production performance metrics, with the ability to analyze findings, identify trends and propose solutions * Experience in leading and guiding video production processes, from pre- to post- production and field and studio shoots. * Operational knowledge of and experience establishing video production operating models to maximize capacities as well as budgetary and production efficiencies using a mix of in- and out-of-house resources. * Extensive experience managing staff of production professionals such as videographers, photographers, producers, editors, asset specialists, etc. * Extensive history of overseeing and managing photo and video projects, such as consumer campaigns, long and short form digital assets, field and studio productions, internal and external communications, digital/social content and more. * Experience managing creative vendors and freelancers for video productions. * Knowledge of video production tools such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, etc. * Experience with digital and media asset management platforms, such as Frame I/O, IPV Curator, Dropbox, Wipster, etc. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as project management applications such as Workfront.
