As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will help create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
* Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related risks to the appropriate personnel.
* Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
* Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* Loss prevention experience is preferred.
* Access control or badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
