Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for growth in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management, with a focus on QuickBooks and real estate wealth management. Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entry of transactions into QuickBooks Online. - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking. - Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure balances are accurate and discrepancies are resolved. - Prepare financial reports and summaries to support decision-making and business operations. - Collaborate with clients or team members to manage bookkeeping needs effectively. - Monitor and manage budgets to track business expenses and revenues. - Assist in managing real estate wealth portfolios by ensuring proper financial recording and reporting. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. - Provide support during audits or financial reviews by organizing and presenting necessary documentation. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles. - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. - Familiarity with financial management in real estate or wealth management industries. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
