As an Allied Universal Security Professional specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

* Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
* Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
* Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities or security-related concerns.
* Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate records of activities and observations.
* Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and/or concerns.
* Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
