We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Information Technology to lead our IT and Operational Technology (OT) departments. This role involves overseeing the technology systems across multiple corporate offices and manufacturing sites. The Director will provide leadership and vision for implementing enterprise-class information systems that enhance operational control, reduce costs, and support growth.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and manage the overall strategy for Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and vision.ERP System Leadership: Lead the strategic direction of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Work closely with consultants and end-users to ensure effective implementation, promote best practices, and optimize functionality.Technology Roadmap: Create and communicate long-term and mid-term plans for the adoption of new hardware, software, and information strategies (such as ERP, PDS, MES) to meet evolving business needs. Regularly update the leadership team on progress, project status, and backlog.Team Leadership: Manage a team of employees and contractors to deliver best-in-class business applications, network infrastructure, voice/data systems, and process data systems. Ensure alignment of systems with business needs, particularly in relation to growth strategies.Policy & Security Management: Develop and enforce policies to protect data, privacy, and intellectual property. Monitor cybersecurity measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of all systems.Collaborative Relationships: Foster strong relationships with IT managers of key trading partners, leading projects that drive cost reduction through the use of innovative business technology solutions.Budget & Financial Oversight: Oversee the department's budget, ensuring effective use of resources and contributing to cost-effective operations. Manage capital plans and project budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals.Continual Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in IT, cybersecurity, and information management. Apply knowledge to recommend and implement cutting-edge hardware and software solutions that keep the organization at the forefront of technology.Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs to ensure users are well-equipped to effectively utilize new systems and technologies.Backup & Disaster Recovery: Review, develop, and certify all backup, disaster recovery, and cyber incident response plans to ensure organizational resilience in the event of system disruptions.Position Requirements:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.Travel Requirements: Must be willing and able to travel internationally (including to Mexico and other locations) as needed.Experience: A minimum of 10 years of management experience in Information Technology, particularly in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge & Skills:Familiarity with business processes in manufacturing.Strong project management experience.Expertise in hardware, software, and technology trends to drive system upgrades and improvements.Communication & Leadership: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to lead and manage a geographically dispersed team, and effectively communicate with senior leadership.Employment Type: OtherSalary: $ 154,000.00 Per Year
