Construction/Project Manager

We are seeking talented, career-driven Construction Managers and Project Managers based in Florida who are eager to continue their career growth in the commercial development, construction, and real estate industries. As a Project Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring that every project meets our customers' expectations with a high level of service. This role will support commercial business operations and contribute to the achievement of project management goals in Florida, including General Contracting (GC) and Construction Management (CMa) lines of business.About the Role:As a Construction/Project Manager, you'll oversee various commercial projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget. The role involves significant collaboration with stakeholders, site Superintendents, and project teams to ensure that all aspects of the project are well-executed. You'll be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, procurement, document control, safety, and quality control while managing multiple projects across Florida.Key Responsibilities:Manage all construction activities and coordinate schedules with project teams.Work with site Superintendents to determine the most cost-effective construction strategies.Maintain and develop strong client relationships.Review project drawings, specifications, and monitor progress to ensure compliance with plans and schedules.Assist with preparing job estimates and interpreting bid documents.Develop subcontracts and purchase orders as needed.Track project schedules, ensuring that critical milestones are met.Handle submittals and RFI processes, ensuring timely approvals.Oversee project finances, ensuring that budgets are adhered to and project earnings are maximized.Collaborate with the project team to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.Work with project leadership to allocate resources to meet project goals.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Visit job sites regularly to coordinate with Superintendents and attend project meetings.Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including Owners and Construction Managers.Support customers in proposal development, including specifications, scope of work, and clarifications.Skills and Qualifications:Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.Experience in the construction procurement process and contract management.Strong knowledge of job estimating, construction drawings, and specifications.Excellent communication skills for drafting reports and business correspondence.Strong organizational skills to coordinate projects and collaborate with stakeholders.Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners.High attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.Ability to adapt work methods as required for project success.Experience and Other Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years equivalent experience.At least 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.Proven ability to work independently in remote work environments.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Sage).OSHA 10 or 30 certification (must obtain within the first 60 days if not already certified).Valid driver's license with a good driving record.Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays as required.Benefits and Perks:Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.Opportunities for career growth and development.Hybrid work flexibility with a mix of onsite and remote work.Comprehensive benefits package.Employment Type: Full-TimeSalary: $ 78,000.00 114,000.00 Per Year
