This experienced environmental practitioner will focus on leading and directing project/task execution supporting our Environmental Remediation practice. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level Engineer, responsible for the performance of the project team and providing clients with high-quality deliverables on time and on budget. Minimum Requirements:Bachelor"s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or other relevant scientific disciplineProfessional Engineer licensing P.E.10 plus years of relevant work experience in environmental site investigation and remediation under CERCLA and state regulatory frameworksExperience and in-depth knowledge of groundwater, soil, and soil vapor characterization and remedial techniques and technologiesExperience with managing large-scale and complex environmental sites involving hazardous and mixed wastes, free-phase product, etc.Proficiency in MS Office products to include: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent writing and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Masters degree in environmental engineering or other relevant scientific disciplineHAZWOPER 40-hour, and current on 8-hour refresherLandfill Repair, Landfill Caps, Earth Moving / Dig Haul construction industry experience is a plus Senior Environmental Engineer ( P.E. Licensed )/ Environmental Project Manager Role and Responsibilities include:As project manager, provide leadership and oversight of planning, project team activities and progress, deliverable quality, cost estimating, cost and schedule control Monitor client satisfaction with performance through periodic meetings, telephone calls, and written correspondence. Keep the firm leadership fully informed on matters likely to cause unfavorable client relations, and solicit their guidance in overcoming such problemsManage people and equipment in a manner that utilizes their full capacity while allowing project completion in a timely and efficient mannerServe as technical lead and manage large/complex projects involving soil, groundwater, and soil vapor assessment and remediationPossess demonstrated experience in site investigation, and remedial design and implementationKnowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to environmental remediation. Preparation of CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, and State of California remediation documents, management plans, and other technical documents.
