Our unique culture places a high value on working relationships, collaboration, accountability and mutual respect.POSITION SUMMARYThe Programmer Analyst II will primarily be responsible for the technical design, development, maintenance, testing, and support of the company"s ERP Applications. These include Oracle Applications and Databases consisting of both on Premise and Cloud platforms. They will work closely with many BISSELL Business Users to understand and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Ability to grasp and deliver on, project objectives, requirements and deliverables. To configure and develop required objects to support those business and project requirements. Additionally, this individual is expected to provide support in architecting the overall environment to support not only BISSELL"s ERP, but the Company"s other business critical applications. When not directly engaged in the development or support of the Company"s ERP & Edge applications, this person will also assist in the development and support of the Company"s Network, Technical Infrastructure and MDM Initiatives.This position works closely with other members of the BISSELL business application development team to design, develop, and implement any required integrations between the Company"s business application systems. They will work closely with the IT infrastructure team to ensure the design and implementation are aligned with technical architecture standards. This person must function effectively in a collaborative team environment.POSITION PROFILE Work closely with other members of the BISSELL business application development team to design, develop and implement the custom objects and solutions for the Companys business application systems.Determine needs, recommend, develop and maintain standards, policies and procedures for the development and support of BISSELL"s Oracle Cloud and on premises systems.Provide necessary input during the various phases of new and existing projects (Blueprinting, Design, Deploy, etc.) based on past experiences and working knowledge or review of current systems and processes with associates from the businessRecommend and implement measurements to monitor, tune and improve BISSELL"s Oracle and Edge applications.Work closely with associates in other business areas, to analyze business requirements and design functionality to fulfill the identified business needs.Determine user requirements, design, code, test, implement and support business application systems for all assigned projects.Develop work plans, schedules, estimates, and status updates for all assigned projects deliverables in an agile environment.Provide technical assistance, training and support for other team members or business users as appropriate.Write detailed descriptions of business needs, program specifications and functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications.
