InGenesis is currently seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Technician to work with our client located at Travis AFB, CA. In this role, you will prepare the room for surgery, assist with catheterization, use EKG equipment to detect issues with the heart and blood vessels, and monitor the patient's condition.Job Duties-Prepares, stocks, cleans and quality checks rooms.-Prepares sterile procedure tray and patient sterile field appropriately for specified procedure type.-Evaluates the status of the patient during the procedure.-Performs EKG lead placement, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry setup for hemodynamic monitoring.-Acquires and accurately documents pertinent patient data in the electronic health record.-Operates all physiologic and radiographic equipment safely and correctly.-Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.-Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory team are met.-Observes occupational and radiation safety regulations.-Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.-Demonstrates ability to provide guidance and assistance to the Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist team.-Assists management in maintaining the efficient use of resources.-Scrubs in for procedures to provide physician assistance for coronary and electrophysiology procedures.-Assists/performs procedures to obtain hemostasis at various percutaneous access sites.-Monitors for hemostasis and vascular complications.-Provides assistance in other cardiopulmonary service areas at the discretion of the Cardiology Element Chief.-Performs other duties as assigned.Employment Type: Full-TimeSalary: $ 47.00 Per Hour
