This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with IT and business teams to strengthen our information security program.---### About the Role As the Information Security Program Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and improving various aspects of our security program. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing security initiatives that align with our organization's security goals. - Developing and maintaining key metrics, compliance reports, and risk indicators. - Creating, updating, and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures. - Overseeing security awareness programs, including training, newsletters, and campaigns. - Collaborating with teams to drive continuous improvement in security practices. - Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). ---### Key Responsibilities #### Project & Program Management - Work with IT and business leaders to assess security programs and identify improvement opportunities. - Maintain and manage the security project portfolio and initiatives. - Define, document, and oversee security-related projects. - Coordinate teams and ensure transparent communication regarding project status and risks. #### Security Awareness & Training - Develop and oversee security awareness programs, including employee training and testing. - Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging training materials and awareness campaigns. - Deliver security training sessions and phishing simulations. #### Metrics & Reporting - Track and analyze security program effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs). - Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, including quarterly updates for executive committees. - Monitor compliance, threat detection, data privacy, and third-party vendor security. #### Change Management & Best Practices - Participate in change management programs to support security initiatives. - Establish best practices for security project management and documentation. - Develop strategic workflows, roadmaps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). #### Policy & Compliance - Create and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures. - Ensure alignment with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, CRI Cyber Profile, and CIS Controls. ---### What We're Looking For #### Education & Certifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SANS, PMP, Scrum. #### Experience - 7-10 years of professional experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related fields. - 1-3 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity roles. - 1-3 years of experience managing security programs or projects. #### Technical & Professional Skills - Strong understanding of financial institution security practices (preferred). - Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, etc.). - Experience managing security awareness programs, training materials, and phishing simulations. - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office 365, Power Platform, etc.). - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to non-technical audiences. - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. - Ability to develop strategic workflows, project roadmaps, and policies. - High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism. ---### Why Join Us? - Be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity. - Opportunity to shape security policies and awareness programs. - Collaborative work environment that values continuous learning and growth. - Competitive compensation and benefits.
