We're seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team and provide essential analytical and financial support to our operations and business teams. This role offers exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, analysis, and strategic decision-making.### About the RoleAs a Staff Accountant, you'll be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through insightful analysis. You'll report directly to the Business Controller and collaborate with teams across the organization to optimize financial processes and drive efficiency.### Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and interpret financial data for the Profit & Loss (P&L) account and Balance Sheet.- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.- Prepare and close monthly financial statements.- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.- Perform monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.- Participate in leadership meetings and provide financial insights, stepping in for the controller when needed.- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.- Support tax compliance, financial audits, and financial systems management.- Contribute to maintaining and improving ISO 9001 certification and Quality Management Systems (QMS).- Provide support for the financial integration of M&A entities, including mapping the chart of accounts.- Calculate monthly commission payments for the sales team.### What You'll Need to Succeed:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (or 3+ years of relevant experience).- Experience with SAP or QuickBooks preferred.- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (ability to perform complex functions).- Background in cost accounting is a plus.- Strong organizational awareness and ability to collaborate with various departments.- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.- Commitment to health, safety, and compliance in the workplace.### Why Join Us?We are committed to creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment where your contributions matter.
