Accounting & Finance Business Systems Analyst Consultant - Remote | WFH

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Business Systems Analyst Consultant with a strong finance/accounting background. If you're someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and takes pride in delivering results, we want to hear from youWe are looking for candidates with 5-10 years of business systems analysis experience, ideally within a finance or accounting setting. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of business processes and systems, with particular expertise in Process Flow Diagramming, Six Sigma, and process standardization/improvement.Key skills include strong organizational abilities, effective requirements gathering, and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders. You should be comfortable facilitating discussions, presenting solutions, and building relationships with both internal teams and business process owners. A client service focus, an eye for process improvement opportunities, and the ability to implement complex solutions in a fast-paced environment are essential.Key Systems You May Work With:Velocity or Verity SystemsKyribaBlacklineWorkday Financial Management platformPrimary Responsibilities:Interview stakeholders across different business units to understand and document current finance workflows.Review key processes such as invoicing, cash application, accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement management, monthly close, reporting, and treasury management.Gather and document business requirements.Required Skills:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.5-10 years of experience in business systems analysis within a finance or accounting environment.Strong understanding of finance principles and working knowledge of GAAP standards.Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.Expertise in business systems analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.Proficiency in process flow diagramming (MS Visio preferred).Six Sigma certification and process improvement experience are highly valued.Excellent facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills.Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with a focus on working with large datasets to derive actionable insights.Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal customers, vendors, and team members.Experience in client-facing roles.If you're passionate about driving business transformation and enjoy working with a diverse set of stakeholders, we encourage you to applyEmployment Type: Full-TimeSalary: $ 20.00 25.00 Per Hour
