Ubiety is the creator of HomeAware, an AI-powered home awareness platform designed to deliver meaningful, real-time presence insights, so families stay informed without unnecessary alarms or intrusive surveillance.We’re looking for our first Senior Marketing Manager to help build and scale our direct-to-consumer marketing engine during a critical phase of commercialization.This is a hands-on builder role for a senior marketing generalist who wants real ownership, real impact, and a clear path to leadership.The RoleUbiety is entering its next stage of growth, launching and scaling a D2C offering alongside broader go-to-market efforts. As Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll be the right-hand partner to the SVP of Commercial, owning day-to-day D2C marketing execution while helping shape long-term marketing strategy.You’ll build programs from the ground up, roll up your sleeves across channels, and lay the foundation for a future marketing team. This role is designed to grow into a Head of Marketing position as the company scales.If you thrive in early-stage environments, enjoy ambiguity, and want to build something meaningful from 0→1, this role is for you.What You’ll OwnEnd-to-End D2C Marketing ExecutionOwn and execute across the full D2C marketing funnel: awareness → acquisition → conversion → retentionLead hands-on execution across key channels including email, social, website/digital, paid media, and product marketingTranslate product value into clear, compelling messaging that converts0 → 1 Program BuildingDesign and launch marketing programs from scratch, testing and iterating quickly with limited resourcesBuild foundational systems and processes that can scale as the company growsBalance short-term execution with long-term strategic thinkingCross-Functional Marketing LeadershipWork closely with leadership, product, and engineering to support launches, campaigns, and GTM initiativesBring customer insights and market feedback into product and commercialization discussionsPerformance & OptimizationOwn marketing performance tracking and experimentationUse data to prioritize, test, learn, and optimize without over-engineeringMake smart tradeoffs in a resource-constrained environmentExternal Resource ManagementManage freelancers, contractors, and agencies as extensions of the teamDecide what to outsource vs. build in-houseEnsure strong ROI, timelines, and quality across all external workTeam & Function GrowthHelp define the long-term vision for marketing at UbietyLay the groundwork for building and leading a future marketing teamGrow into a Head of Marketing role as the company scalesWho You AreThe Marketing GeneralistDeep, hands-on experience across the full marketing stack: email, social, website/digital, paid media, and product marketingComfortable context-switching between strategic planning and tactical executionEnergized by doing the work, not just managing itThe Startup OperatorThrives in lean, fast-moving environments with ambiguityHas built marketing programs from 0 → 1 at an early-stage startupScrappy and resourceful, finds creative solutions instead of asking for bigger budgetsThe Builder & Future LeaderThinks in systems, not just campaignsCares about building something durable and scalableMotivated by growing into a leadership role through impact and ownershipQualificationsMust-Haves7+ years of marketing experience with multi-channel expertise.Proven ownership of end-to-end D2C campaigns, from acquisition through conversion and retention2–3+ years in a startup or early-stage environmentExperience working on very small marketing teams (solo or team of 2–3)Strong hands-on execution skills across social, email, website, paid media, and product marketingNice-to-HavesExperience in IoT, hardware, or B2B SaaSExperience scaling a company from Series A to Series B+Prior experience building or leading a marketing teamComfort working closely with product and engineering teamsIn the first 12–18 months, success looks like:A repeatable D2C marketing engine driving measurable acquisition and conversionClear positioning and messaging across all customer touchpointsMarketing programs that are documented, scalable, and no longer founder-dependentA roadmap for building the next phase of the marketing teamWhat we can offer you:A real seat at the table.
