We are seeking a Senior Estate Planning Specialist to work directly with our CEO and senior advisory team on advanced planning for ultra-high-net-worth families ($50M–$5B). This is a behind-the-scenes, highly technical position ideal for someone who loves estate planning, tax strategy, and complex multi-generational planning—without being the face-to-face advisor.

Role Overview: Senior Estate Planning Specialist
You will serve as the technical engine behind our strategies—conducting deep research, designing advanced estate plans, preparing high-level proposals, and quarterbacking implementation across attorneys, CPAs, trust officers, and carriers.
Key ResponsibilitiesEstate Planning Strategy & Advisor Support
- Implement advanced estate planning strategies (GRATs, IDGTs, ILITs, NQDC, premium financing, charitable trusts, wealth transfer)
- Organize and analyze complex client data
- Prepare professional written deliverables, agendas, and follow-up documents
- Provide internal estate planning recommendations to advisors
Case Design & Proposal Development
- Build comprehensive estate planning and wealth transfer proposals
- Create flowcharts, modeling, narratives, spreadsheets, and tax/estate calculations
- Maintain and improve our estate planning materials library
- Occasionally support multi-life employer/employee benefit presentations
Plan Implementation
- Project-manage all steps of the estate plan execution
(trusts, insurance, corporate structures, legal documents, funding)
- Coordinate with attorneys, CPAs, trust companies, and carriers
- Ensure accurate, timely, compliant documentation
Research & Technical Expertise
- Conduct deep research on estate tax law, advanced strategies, legal developments
- Monitor new regulations and planning opportunities affecting UHNW clients
Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years in estate planning, advanced markets, high-level paraplanning, or life insurance case design
- One or more: CFP, CLU, ChFC, CPA, or JD
- BA/BS in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
- Expert-level Excel and financial modeling ability
- Deep knowledge of life insurance, estate tax, wealth transfer techniques
- Exceptional written communication (your written work is client-facing)
- Ability to handle strict confidentiality
- Strong professional tenure; we value long-term commitment
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Premium financing, PPLI, NQDC, GRATs, IDGTs
- eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, NaviPlan
- Series 7/66 (or willingness to obtain)
