Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Low Voltage Technician located in Peoria, IL and Bloomington/Normal, IL. The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems and related electrical equipment. Daily tasks include electrical maintenance, system inspections, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standards. Technicians will collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality work and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance, including routine inspections, system servicing, and repairs
  • Understanding of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles relevant to low voltage systems
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving system issues efficiently
  • Experience working with Electrical Equipment, including installation and safe operation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
  • Relevant certification or training in low voltage systems is preferred
  • Previous experience in a related field is a plus
