Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining and catering, showcasing leadership skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently. This role involves overseeing food production, menu planning, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Plan and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes meet quality standards.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Implement food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations.
  • Supervise banquet operations, ensuring smooth execution of events and catering services.
  • Train kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with management on restaurant operations, including staffing and scheduling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with industry standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management.
  • Experience in menu planning, food production, and kitchen management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while managing shift operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices and food service management principles.
  • Familiarity with dietary department experience is a plus; understanding of dietary restrictions is essential.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a focus on creativity and presentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $70,000.00 per year
