About Cybersecurity Institute at Lab Four
Cybersecurity Institute at Lab Four's mission is to become a key workforce development partner in three ways: by providing the best possible technology training to help businesses become more successful; providing the skills and credentials necessary for individuals to secure stable employment in a high-demand industry; and partnering with other non-profit organizations to help our community fulfill its vast potential.
We are changing the training industry and changing lives, and that can't happen without a skilled Recruitment and Admissions Team. As a Career Specialist, you will help us stay organized, solve operational problems, and become efficient in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Main Focus
- Lead the Admissions effort for Cybersecurity Institute at Lab Four
- Identify and successfully engage with Prospective Students
- Goal is 15 enrollments per month
Responsibilities
- Source prospective students/leads online using Social Media, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
- Initiate, maintain, and actively develop referral partnerships with community organizations
- Develop and implement lead generation plans
- Actively generate personal referrals and participate in special recruiting or promotional activities such as job fairs and other community events
- Meet prospective students and assess their educational needs, concerns, barriers, and interests via face-to-face or virtual meetings, phone calls, and emails.
- Explain the benefits and objectives of the various programs offered by Cybersecurity Institute at Lab Four
- Be knowledgeable about the different funding options and investment methods (loan, grant, scholarship, etc.) available to students
- Schedule and facilitate prospective students' initial meeting with Cybersecurity Institute at Lab Four; including the Information Session, collaboration with Subject Matter Experts to complete Program Advising, and coordination of the Financial Aid Meeting
- Encourage and uplift prospective students to overcome barriers and pursue a brighter future; act as a personal coach to help them throughout the admissions process and as they transition into the classroom
- Maintain high level of communication with both Prospective Students and management/staff
- Submit completed Applicant File (per Student File Checklist, including all electronic steps) to the Enrollment Manager or designated Office Support for approval
- Assist Registration with updating Pending Rosters based on where applicants are in the process
- Second line communications for SAP and Attendance issues
- Participate in retention efforts; maintain productive contact with active students/recent alumni
- Answer calls and direct to appropriate personnel; relay any messages in a timely manner
- Maintain assigned electronic records and reports:
- Verity (electronic Lead records for Prospective Students)
- End of Day Report
- Participate in regular meetings:
- Weekly Enrollment Team Meetings
- Quarterly Staff Meetings
Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
- Meets company minimum standard of Background Check
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- At least two years related experience in a management/leadership position preferred

Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
- Certification in Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Basic printing/faxing/scanning
Language Skills:
- English (reading, writing, verbal) required
- Bilingual (reading, writing, verbal) preferred
