We are currently hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager to work directly under our Executive Chef and play a central role in daily kitchen operations.

The Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for supporting all back-of-house prep operations. This position is ideal for a skilled cook or lead prep person who is ready to take the next step into kitchen leadership. Pay will be based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Daily Prep & Stocking

Lead all food preparation for service (produce, proteins, sauces, etc.)

Maintain par levels and ensure daily mise en place is complete and organized

Assist in broth preparation and specialty items

Kitchen Operations

Support ordering and inventory control

Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation standards, and closing/opening routines

Oversee basic kitchen equipment care and coordinate with ownership for maintenance needs

Work confidently and efficiently without direct supervision

Menu Support

Assist the Executive Chef with weekly/seasonal specials

Contribute creative ideas while maintaining cost awareness and consistency

What We're Looking For

Previous kitchen experience is required, especially in food prep.

Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen organization

Basic understanding of food cost, yields, and waste control

Comfortable working independently and making decisions without supervision

Weekend availability is required, especially Sundays

Compensation & Schedule

Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Consistent schedule

Weekend shifts required, with priority given to Sunday coverage
