Position Summary

The Supervisor is directly responsible for the recommendation of supply ordering for inventory replenishment in the hospital storeroom. Assures supplies are available for distribution to all using areas within the hospital. Maintains sufficient par levels of inventory within the storeroom. Responsible for accurate computerized recordkeeping in receipts of goods and in distribution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and resolves problems independently; communicates decisions to the manager
  • Is proactive; fosters action steps to solve problems considered high-risk, long-term and /or linked to broad organizational problems
  • Demonstrates respect for diverse groups of people; works cooperatively and effectively to achieve results
  • Verbal and written communications are timely, consistently appropriate, clear and accurate
  • Integrates knowledge of hospital into operational and patient problem solving activities; networks and builds alliances with others to problem solve and accomplish tasks

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience with Inventory Control, Oracle Cloud and scheduling
  • Ability to walk/stand/lift/push/pull for extended periods of time
  • Strong Interpersonal/Organizational/Interpersonal Skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Detail Oriented

Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually (Based on experience)
