Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, cold calling, emailing, texting, and community outreach to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct personalized vehicle demonstrations, highlighting features that meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Negotiate prices, financing options, and trade-in values to close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and inventory management using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, service packages, and accessories to enhance customer value and dealership revenue.
  • Manage inventory control by coordinating with the dealership team to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events and public speaking engagements to boost dealership visibility.
  • Collaborate with sales management to develop strategies for retail sales growth and improve overall dealership performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales with a strong understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end sales environments.
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and leads effectively.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases better.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and inventory management systems is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking and phone etiquette, are essential for engaging customers confidently.
  • Experience with outbound sales strategies such as cold calling and lead generation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of retail math, upselling techniques, and automotive retail processes will contribute to success in this role.
