Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy, special education, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing patient-centered care to improve quality of life for clients and their families. The BCBA will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Duties
- Design, implement, and oversee behavioral intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine individual needs
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and compliant medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards
- Conduct intake assessments to determine client eligibility for services
- Educate families and staff on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and intervention techniques
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices in behavioral health
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification
- Experience working with children, individuals with autism, or those with developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and special education methodologies
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting tools used in behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient care, and maintaining detailed medical documentation
- Ability to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments in accordance with clinical standards
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
