We are looking for you to join our team as a Finance Manager 3 based out of Linthicum, MD. This is an onsite position that offers the 9/80 schedule.

What You'll Get to Do

The Finance Manager 3 role will support the Mission Systems Sector Financial Planning & Reporting director. This individual will provide direct supervision to the Financial Planning staff and coordinate all activities that relate to financial planning and reporting.  The Manager will coordinate and work closely with division and sector leadership as well as other functions across the organization, to complete the following activities:

  • Monthly Forecast Projections and analysis
  • Monthly actual closings and reporting deliverables
  • Monthly Reporting Process and support the Reviews for the Business Units and Division
  • Cash forecasting
  • Annual Operating Plan
  • Conduct financial analysis & Coordinate responses to ad hoc requests from Business Unit, Division, Sector and/or Corporate.
  • Provide accounting consultations as needed
  • Support the Statutory filing process and reconciliation efforts

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 10 years of relevant work experience - OR - a Master's degree in accounting or related field with 8 years of relevant work experience
  • CPA
  • Recent Big 4 or recognized public accounting firm audit experience
  • Prior experience supporting the Aerospace & Defense sector
  • Prior people leadership experience
  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong GAAP accounting proficiency and research experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $147, $221,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
