Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products between sources and destinations.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate the movement of raw materials and parts within the warehouse to ensure a timely delivery to designated destinations.
  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demand.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse operations in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data related to warehouse operations, including inventory levels, productivity metrics, and shipping/receiving performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  •  
  • High School Diploma/ GED, required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a comparable leadership role required
  • Hazmat Certificate, required
  • Forklift training
  • Ability to operate large commercial vehicles.
  • Experience with material handling & material organization.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to properly handle, store, and transport materials. 
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of inventory records.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings and outdoor settings, which can potentially expose employees to noise, dust, heat stress, thermal stress, low light conditions, heights, etc.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending and kneeling for extended periods
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed, which would require use of fall protection equipment and other safety devices
  • Capable of using hand and power tools, including specialty tools resulting in cutting, grinding, drilling, fastening and other methods resulting in torque, vibration, noise, etc.
