Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Roofing Contractor to oversee home improvement projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, patience, fast execution, organization, high standards, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes.

Licensing

Candidates must have an active Alabama Roofing License. We are open to providing resources for any continuing education, license renewal, and attempt to acquire a General Contractor's license.

On-Target Earnings

In addition to a base salary, this position will earn an additional 2% of gross revenue, ideally yielding in excess of $25,000 per year in additional income.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of residential construction projects, including planning, estimating, material orders, execution, and final inspection.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure effective project management and coordination among various stakeholders.
  • Prepare for and prevent variances, project errors, and homeowner miscommunication.
  • Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Experience

  • Proven experience in the following trades: roofing & gutters
  • Proficient in using JobNimbus for documentation, scheduling, estimating, and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Xactimate for insurance claims.
  • Strong problem-solving capacity and comprehensive understanding of renovation, repair, and restoration.
  • Experience with construction of home additions and interior renovations.
  • Demonstrated ability in project coordination, time management, and effective communication.
