Overview

Join our Staybridge Suites team as a Room Attendant, Laundry Attendant or Both Your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean areas of all assigned guest rooms
  • Takes all lost and found items to the front desk, tagged with room number, article(s), date, and name of room attendant.
  • Using Room Attendant's daily cleaning schedule, notes any missing linen or hotel items from guest rooms and any maintenance needed.
  • Advises immediate supervisor immediately of any necessary repair or maintenance in guest rooms.
  • Restocks room attendant's cart at the end of the shift. Keeps housekeeping carts and storage areas neat and organized.
  • Removes linens from laundry chute and places the soiled linen in laundry cart. You control the weight of the linen by the quantity you remove each time.
  • Removes linens from laundry cart.
  • Sorts linens and identifies linens for special treatment as required by Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures (BBP).
  • Checks all linens for stains before washing; pre-spot or soak, if needed. Treats and soaks stained linens as needed.
  • Any linens stained, worn, and in need of repair that would not be suitable for guest rooms should be set aside for review by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hotel laundry or housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
  • Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, push housekeeping carts, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
