Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential homes and commercial properties. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-presented.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for guests or residents.
  • Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
  • Provide carpet cleaning services when required, maintaining the quality of carpets in residential or commercial settings.
  • Assist with cooking or meal preparation as needed in residential environments.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
  • Respond to guest or resident requests promptly and courteously, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Skills

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
  • Knowledge of residential cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning standards.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to sanitize various surfaces and use appropriate cleaning products safely.
  • Experience with carpet cleaning equipment is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
