Position Overview

The Inventory Manager oversees all aspects of new and pre-owned vehicle inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, seamless coordination between departments, and timely updates to internal systems and online listings. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with both data and people, and takes pride in maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track all incoming and outgoing vehicle inventory.
  • Coordinate with the sales, service, and accounting departments to ensure accurate vehicle records.
  • Update and maintain vehicle listings on dealership websites and third-party platforms.
  • Oversee vehicle photos, descriptions, pricing updates, and lot organization.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Work with the management team to plan inventory levels and order allocations.
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturer and dealership inventory policies.
  • Support dealership events, promotions, and lot presentations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive inventory management or dealership operations (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with dealership management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, vAuto, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
