Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems.
- Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople to complete remodeling projects.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for installations or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with carpentry skills can enhance project efficiency.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for installations or repairs.
- Experience in maintenance person services or remodeling projects is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
