Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer II
Location:
Portsmouth, NH - 100% on-site.

The MES Engineer Level 2 is responsible for supporting activities such as requirements gathering, testing, implementation and use of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This Engineer s expected to operate with some supervision and some autonomy.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, author, and model manufacturing recipes within the MES platform.
  • Draft, execute, and document test scripts to validate recipe changes.
  • Support manufacturing by resolving execution issues and providing SME input.
  • Create and refine change management procedures for MES system and process changes.
  • Participate in project planning and execution for automation improvements.
  • Support deviation investigations, CAPA actions, and change requests.
  • Review and revise documentation including SOPs and batch records.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 3-6 years in Pharma/Biotech.
  • Ability to analyze information and identify key issues.
  • Problem-solving skills with engineering focus.
  • Willingness to fulfill on-call hours.
  • Ability to evaluate engineering problems and be able to devise cause and effect relationships and
  • propose solutions
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
