Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of hospitality to ensure guest satisfaction and business success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and guest experience.
  • Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
  • Handle guest relations issues promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and amenities.
  • Supervise night audit operations and ensure accurate financial records are maintained overnight.
  • Maintain effective communication across departments using multi-line phone systems while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Foster a welcoming environment that promotes guest loyalty and positive reviews.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue management, budgeting, and human resources within the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services excellence.
  • Leadership abilities to motivate staff, manage conflicts, and drive team performance.
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations, including night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette mindset.
  • Experience working in resort or hotel environments with a comprehensive understanding of hospitality standards.
