Position: Full-Time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Location: Midwest City, OK | In-Clinic Only

Are you passionate about pets and people? Heritage Plaza Animal Hospital—a trusted, veteran-owned practice proudly serving Midwest City for over 38 years—is looking for a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our dedicated team.

Hours:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This is a full-time, in-person position.

What You'll Do:

As a vital part of our clinic, you'll wear many hats throughout your day, including:

  • Assisting our veterinarians with exams, treatments, surgeries, and drop-off appointments
  • Collecting lab samples (fecal, blood, urine, cytology, etc.) with care and precision
  • Educating pet owners on wellness care, parasite prevention, nutrition, and more
  • Greeting clients warmly and managing appointment check-ins/check-outs
  • Answering phones and responding to emails with professionalism and empathy
  • Handling administrative tasks such as invoicing, record-keeping, and billing
  • Ensuring each client and patient has a five-star experience, every time

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic (assistant, receptionist, or kennel tech)
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and a love for animals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation:

$13.00 – $17.00 per hour, based on experience
