We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) at Clinic. We welcome new grads or experienced PAs.

We have physician (MD) onsite for training, mentorship and to discuss complex cases. There would be lot of room for growth and pay scale increase and to establish yourself long term with this position.

No night coverage or on-call required and there will be flexibility in schedule. There will be direct access to the practice owners and managers without any bureaucratic structure.

Location: Zenith Primary & Urgent Care, Marlborough, MA

Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care:

  2. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.

  3. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries.

  4. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans.

  5. Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.

  6. Provide preventative care and health education to patients and their families.

  7. Clinical Procedures:

  8. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures

  9. Conduct minor surgical procedures and wound care as needed.

  10. Administer vaccinations and other injections.

  11. Collaboration and Communication:

  12. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.

  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient care and treatment plans.

  14. Document patient visits, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and promptly.

  15. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  16. Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and protocols.

  17. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and healthcare standards.

  18. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

  19. Professional Development:

  20. Stay current with medical knowledge and advancements by participating in continuing education opportunities.

  21. Maintain professional licensure and certifications as required.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a PA or NP in Massachusetts.

  • Certification from a recognized certifying body (e.g., NCCPA for PAs).

  • Clinical experience in an emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care or ambulatory care setting is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

  • BLS certified.
