We're seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Senior Accountant to join the corporate finance team of a privately held, family-owned hospitality group. This is an opportunity to work directly with the VP of Finance, COO, and ownership, gaining exposure well beyond traditional accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare fixed asset schedules and manage accruals
  • Execute outgoing payments and monitor cash flow
  • Conduct full balance sheet reconciliations
  • Build and maintain financial reporting, including P&L and Balance Sheet statements
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Help streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
  • Partner closely with leadership to provide insights that support business decisions
  • Jump in and support the team wherever needed — this is a lean, collaborative department

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 1–3 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger processes
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet)
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with leadership
  • CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
  • Hospitality, restaurant group, or multi-unit experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $85,000.00 per year
