Space Systems Test Engineer
to support a national leader in secure systems for aerospace and defense programs located in
El Segundo, CA.
The Space Systems Test Engineer will design, execute, and analyze test procedures for complex aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and minimizing risk.
Responsibilities of the Space Systems Test Engineer include:
- Support development and verification of test methods for space systems.
- Perform detailed test procedures and define instrumentation and configurations.
- Design test hardware, software, and systems to meet requirements.
- Develop solutions to calibration system problems of limited scope.
- Analyze, process, and format test data to meet customer specifications.
- Execute automated tests and troubleshoot electronics equipment, hardware, and software.
Qualifications for the Space Systems Test Engineer include:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with specialized test equipment and electrical engineering test methodologies.
- 3+ years performing automated tests and troubleshooting electronics equipment.
- Experience with software tools based in C#.
- Ability to analyze and process data for compliance with customer requirements.
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Compensation for the Space Systems Test Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
- Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
