SUMMARY 

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for contributing to the company's overall marketing programs. This includes supporting communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing inclusive of social media. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Provide administrative and project support for marketing programs 
  • Execute marketing deliverables by organizing events, contributing to presentations, updating calendars, and delivery of marketing collateral is on time 
  • Ensure that all content is proofread, free of errors, and represents Magnate's branding standards   
  • Create and manage content via social media  
  • Manage printing contractors and other promotional vendors 
  • Continually seek new marketing opportunities and provide recommendations to marketing leadership 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS  

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising or communications preferred but not required 
  • 1+ years of administrative and/or marketing experience 
  • Experience with communications, social media, marketing analytics or administration 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Strong understanding of marketing principals, writing and content creation 
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position is in an indoor, office environment, requires the ability to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors verbally and in writing, sit for periods of time, operate typical office equipment which requires seeing and the use of a keyboard.
