Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Lead auto Mechanic Employee is required to have a state inspector and emissions license, also required to have excellent diagnostic skill. A heavy inspector license is a perk. Daily duties would be Manage and operate day to day operations in our complete mechanic shop. Reading work orders and diagnosing vehicle issues. Lube services, engine diagnostics, operate a diagnostic scan tool and assess a diagnosis. Shop provides all diagnostic equipement. Technician is required to have tools and a box. ASE Certified technician is strongly desired.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and automotive diagnostics for accurate troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with ADAS technology, air brake systems, auto estimating software, and auto body repair is a plus.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
  • Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
