Tire Technician – Family-Owned Tire Shop

Location: Whittier, CA

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time available. Monday-Friday (weekends available if desired)

Pay: $17-$22 hourly (based on experience)

Our small team values hard work, integrity, and treating customers like family. We're looking for a dependable and motivated Tire Technician to join our crew.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and balance tires on cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Inspect tires and wheels for damage or wear
• Repair flat tires and perform basic tire maintenance
• Drive to pick up tire and parts orders from suppliers
• Assist with shop closing duties (locking up, securing tools, cleaning)
• Keep the shop and work areas clean and organized
• Occasionally answer phone calls and assist customers during peak hours
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers and coworkers

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• English and Spanish speaking
• Previous tire or automotive experience preferred (will train the right person)
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
