  • Position: House Manager
  • Hours:Monday-Friday typically 10:00-2:00pm **Some flexibility will be needed with the hours, schedule will be known in advance.
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 30
  • Paid Time Off Benefits: Will earn 30 hours of paid time off every 6 months or, 60 hours every year. PTO may not be carried over year to year. PTO may be used for any reason, including; vacation, illness, medical appointments, family care, and personal business. In addition to, 6 paid federal holidays which fall on the nanny's normal Monday- Friday working day (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
  • Driving Required: Yes, in employees own vehicle
  • Cross Streets: N 40th Street & E Campbell Ave
  • Starting Hourly Rate: $25/hour
  • Projected start date: As soon as possible
  • Position Duration: Long Term

House Manager Job Requirements:

  • Calendar management, including scheduling/canceling appointments

  • Booking travel itinerary including; air, transfers, accommodations and managing

expenses

  • Stay on top of emails and other written daily communication(s)

  • Run occasional errands on behalf of the employer

  • Preparing occasional communications on behalf of the employer

  • Assisting with miscellaneous projects/organization as needed around the home

  • Purchasing and sending gifts

  • Occasional driving will be required in Employee's own vehicle

  • Shopping for groceries, supplies, and other requested items and stocking/organizing them

  • Assisting with family laundry

  • Must be ok with occasional domestic travel with employer as a companion when needed

  • Must be ok with occasional pet care needs

  • Keep things within the home running smoothly

  • Maintaining Employer vehicle (refueling, taking to car wash for interior and exterior)

  • Assist with healthy meal planning, shopping, and preparation

  • Arranging appointments for personal and professional needs

  • Scheduling home maintenance and repair work, and supervising the project

  • Light housekeeping duties (expectation to reset the home each day)

  • Pack/unpack daily activity and travel bags

House Manager Qualifications:

  • Employee will report directly to the Employer and will need to be confident working

independently as well as on a team. Must be a self-starter and high achiever.

  • Must be very tech savvy and capable of assisting with technology needs daily.

  • Must be able to listen to and implement constructive feedback.

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a House Manager and/or Personal Assistant

  • Must be comfortable booking travel and have a high level of confidentiality discernment

  • Must have a high degree of integrity with the ability to handle sensitive information

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have excellent organization skills with a high attention to detail

  • Must love dogs and have a strong passion for working with them to ensure wellbeing

daily.

  • Must have an ability to prioritize, assess needs and take action

  • Must have strong interpersonal and relationship skills

  • Must have strong problem-solving skills

  • Must be proficient in basic computer skills

  • Employee should be a team player, self-starter and motivated to get tasks completed

during the day with little management

  • Reliable, safe transportation will be needed

  • Employee must pass a background check and have a clean driving record

  • Employee must abide by a no smoking/vaping policy at all times

  • Employee should be able to show longevity in their previous positions

  • Must provide 3 professional references from prior employers
