VibrantCare is currently seeking engaging and energetic Physical Therapy Aide/Front Office for our South Land Park Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic to cover:

  • Part Time w/benefits 32-39 hours
  • - Anticipated schedule during M - F 8AM - 5PM

Candidates should have the following:

  • Enthusiasm, high energy and a good conversationalist- REQUIRED
  • Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office - REQUIRED
  • Some Medical Office experience/ education- Preferred
  • Interest in Physical Therapy - Preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish or Russian - a PLUS
  • Current CPR certification required; employee is responsible for maintaining active certification for the duration of employment.
  • Current tuberculosis (TB) test required; employee is responsible for maintaining in accordance with state guidelines for the duration of employment.

The Physical Therapy Aide position is an essential component of the clinical rehabilitation team. The skills and knowledge obtained working along-side our expert clinicians will help develop the foundational skills and professional understanding necessary to take that next step in exploring a career as a PT/OT/PTA/OTA.

Essential Functions: Assist the Clinicians with both patient and non-patient related tasks

Patient-related tasks may include:

  • Assisting the PT with patient transportation/transfers and gait training
  • Assisting the PT/OT with set-up and application of thermal and electrical modalities
  • Assisting the PT/OT with supervising therapeutic exercise programs
  • Assisting the PT/OT with the assembly and production of hard copy and digital home exercise programs

Non-Patient related tasks may include:

  • Patient Chart creation
  • Copay collection
  • Other "office" type tasks as needed
  • General cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of therapeutic and gym equipment and high-touch surfaces
  • Laundering and refreshing of linens
  • Participation in emergency preparedness drills and exercises
  • Participation in compliance-related education and training
  • Participation in quality assurance activities

Pay: $16.90 per hour
