Job Summary
Copia Resources, Inc is seeking a Waste & Recycling Sorting Route Driver to work full time at one of our client's properties in San Diego, CA. This person will perform janitorial and porter duties. The Porter / Trash & Recycling Sorter will walk the properties to ensure cleanliness throughout the property. The primary focus for this position will revolve around trash enclosures located throughout the properties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver's license. (Commercial license not required)
- Clean driving record of at least 1 yr (1 point or less with approval from company's car insurance)
- Able to work the following shift: Monday - Friday 4am til 10am
- Ability to repetitively lift 75+ lbs (furniture, appliances, household items)
- Ability to push and pull a wheeled bin weighing 600+ lbs.
- Follows instructions from Senior Drivers / Field Operations Admin / Route Supervisors while working quickly and efficiently
- Able to drive/maneuver a trailer
- Must work well with others and represent Copia Resources Inc professionally
- Ability to send emails, text messages and picture messages by cell phone
- Ability to make decisions and think outside of the box
- Experience with waste management is a plus (NOT required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but NOT REQUIRED
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27.0 per week
